Hi, Now a lot of these I've built from scratch without a mailing list, and here are some tips that work for me. All right, so you're just starting out with your YouTube channel, which I highly recommend you create as an affiliate marketer. It's going to be your biggest asset.
Here's what you need to do. Art number one: this is a general marketing principle. This principle took me many, many failed businesses to learn, and that idea is is that marketing is not all about going abroad, it's actually about going very specific and very narrow first. All right.
So if you start a new business, the idea, most people fail in the sense that they try to do business, that does everything. They think, that by having something that addresses all the audience, every every little segment of the audience, it gives them more opportunity for business. make money online
But this is the exact reality of what happens all ight, because when you stand for everything, you basically stand for nothing. Now, when people think of your business, they're not really going to know like what it is specifically that you're an expert at. So it's very important when you create a new business or new channel that you narrow your focus down to one very small segment of your market.
So this could be a specific topic or a specific audience. So let me give you some examples in regard to regard that all ight. So the workout, its building muscle getting ripped. There is a popular channel on here called like it's called like six pack shortcuts. Now that's all about getting six pack ABS. Most of their videos are focused around the topic of getting six-pack, getting six pack ABS.
But as part of this they also show all kinds of other muscle building videos, like getting bigger arms, getting a bigger chest. But they all always relate those videos to how this is going to impact your six pack. Alright, so try to define your market down to a specific topic. I'd do this here on my super flat channel.
My topic is being lazy and affiliate marketing. Imagine if I wasn't a lazy guy with a robe, I was just a guy and also imagine that I went abroad and tried to target, like make money online or the general internet marketing. You wouldn't really even think about me about anything. I'd just be another channel of thousands that probably exist internet marketing.
So I decided to refine it down to affiliate marketing and taking it one step farther, and that is going over after the lazy segment, us lazy deadbeats alight, so that's going down to a topic and an audience. Another good example of refining your, your business or your channel down to an audience is working out for people who are over the age of 50.
All right, so this is no longer a specific topic, but I've instead tailored the channel to a specific audience. All right, so that's something that you can do either by topic or by audience. That's how you differentiate yourself from the competition. All right, so before you start your channel, try to one in on some aspect of whatever market is it is that you have your your site set on.
That's number one tip number two, is that when you build your new channel, start releasing videos that first day that you make the channel. So don't just create the channel. Let it sit there for a month. You two want to see channels that just take off and start right away. So here's what I recommend you do.
I recommend that you film ten videos and store them on your hard drive or, when you're ready to launch the channel, launch the channel and launch one of those videos every day for ten days. Alright, you should do more. You should keep this launch. This channel launched over a month or two every single day, but this will significantly help you get the ball rolling on you to it.
So I know some of my previous videos. I recommend that you start off a little bit slower on you to by just posting two or three times a week. I'm now learning that you're much better off just posting every single day special, especially during that first week of your channel. Creation.
Number three is after you create a video. Underneath the video there's a spot for a video description. This is a perfect place for you to stuff 200 to 300 word article geared specifically to whatever topic it is that you're creating the video on. A lot of people underestimate the power of the video section. Make sure you use it.
That section is going to represent a big portion of the tube search engine traffic and the and the Google search traffic that you get to your videos. Number four is social bookmarks. Each one of your videos. A lot of people say that social bookmarks aren't effective this day and age. I totally disagree. I've had a lot of positive results with social bookmarking.
It's very primitive, very basic, but it works. The benefit of that is you're going to get increased search engine rankings. Google's going to find out about your video Quaker, which is not really that big of a deal. Most importantly, you're going to get traffic from those social bookmarking sites. If you're content is good, all right. So social bookmarks yourself.
You can do that at five foot. Come. It'll take you about a minute or two extra of your time. It's just worth putting it in. Remember, it's all about working smart. If you can do this in two minutes, you can get results from it. Do that stuff all right! Number five. Let's see getting a little bit lazy today. Let's put my feet up on some all right.
Number five to number five is get your friends to subscribe and like your videos now, the thing about friends is they want you to succeed, but they don't want you to really succeed. So they'll help you out initially, but don't count on them to support you for months and months and you're going to get about a week of attention out of them.
So get them to subscribe. What this is really going to do is going to signal to you that your channel have some kind of interest. All right. So basically, every time someone subscribes to your channel what this does, it provides a link back to your channel, because when they subscribe on their on each user's page it lists like the stuff they're subscribed to, and by having your link on that page it slowly but surely increases your authority on YouTube.
Even just ten to 15 people initially can go a long way. Ask your friends, I get them to watch them, your videos, but don't count on them to really be true fans. Your true fans are the ones who are actually going to care about what it is that you have to say. Keep that in mind.
It's tip number five, number six. Let's just hammer these babies off. I'm in a good mood today. Tip number six: it's got some water. First number six: all right. Tip number six is that on Facebook there are tons of Facebook groups related to whatever niche that you're looking for. So in that search box up there it's probably on the left of Facebook.
Type in your topic and just look for groups related. Now you don't want to just jump on the group and start spamming your two blanks. So about a week before you launch your channel, go on, they start, like in everyone's post, provides some value linked to other videos. So people get used to you and seeing your name on that group.
All right now, when it comes time for you to launch your channel, just sprinkle in every once in a while one of your videos. This will help you get traffic from Facebook. I've learned that you too loves fakebook traffic. Those people that come from Facebook watch the videos and, more importantly, you two loves, like when people come from Facebook, that that is a signal to them that your channel is quality.
Let's see what else, all it here's another good tip on your blog. If you have one, what you should do is there's a way for you to take the tube subscribe button and imbed that on external sites. So on the side bar of your blog, take that code to imbed your tub than subscribe button on the side bar of your block. I'll make a video about this in the future.
So here's another good tip. I'm on a role here. Bing traffic Bing ads are a great way to jump-start your videos. All it takes is a 50 to 100 views that you can buy on Bing. It'll cost you maybe a buck. 100 views may be a little more depending on your niche. Take that traffic from Bing and send it directly to your YouTube videos now don't expect it to make you too much money. What you really want out of this is some initial views and initial subscribers.
All right. So if you have a little bit of extra cash, do that slowly but surely, just trickle in some big traffic. If you want to learn more about actually how Bing ads work and how to do that, I have a video that you can access here. That's about how to get traffic to whatever you want with Bing adds. So there's that video there all right. So those are some good tips for you to follow. To build your first one hundred subscribers here on YouTube it.
